Admission Procedures 


L.A.P.E.C. Offers two types of programs:

A. Diploma (Vocational)

B.  Certification and Continued Professional Development Programs (Non Vocational).


Each program / course has its specific requirements, and students must meet all for success admission consideration.



For Vocational Programs (Diploma):


For courses or programs which require assessment-based certification (such as specialization certification and diploma programs) once initial online or in person admission assessment application is received at L.A.P.E.C. admissions office, the applicant will be required to complete further steps as per General Application Guidelines mentioned on this page. The L.A.P.E.C.–P.D.L.E.S. admissions office will complete processing** applications as soon as possible, and an initial decision will be relayed to the applicant via email in 3 to 7 business days with further instructions.

**If the application is not complete, or is missing some information, the admissions office will contact the applicant via email or phone for further assistance. (Please expect  a delay in response in this situation.)


All applications for online, as well as in-class courses, are processed online. Hence decisions are relayed online via email as well. However, applicants may visit the college to consult and apply as well. Our dedicated student counsellors are ready to assist and guide students in person, online or by email. We document all communication.

To apply online, 24/7, applicants are encouraged to adopt the following procedures:

  • Before you apply, please make sure that you:
  • Meet minimum admission requirements
  • Meet program-specific requirements
  • Know the application deadlines
  • Submit your application online
  • Submit all required documentation with application


Applicant must have following minimum credentials/required documents for enrollment consideration. 

  1. Copy of Government Issued ID 
  2. Copy of Secondary School Certificate or other degree/diploma which is equaling to Canadian Secondary School Certificate, 
  3. If you are not a Canadian Citizen or PR, please provide proof of your status in Canada


General Application Guidelines: 

Applications are equally considered if received on or before the start of given program date. Applications received after the start of given program date are considered on a case-to-case basis and require special approval from the president of the college. We begin sending offers of admission (Final Acceptance Letter) 15–30 days in advance from the date, of course, start date. L.A.P.E. College accepts applications for admission up to the 5th day of class, as long as there are seats available in the program.

Submit Document

  • Each program has its required criteria; please visit related program page for accurate information in general L.A.P.E.C. requirements, for Ontario high school students and graduates:
  • Notify your guidance counselor that you have applied to college and your school will forward your transcripts to L.A.P.E. College via email or postal mail
  • Graduates of college/university, or high school outside Ontario but within Canada:
  • You are responsible for requesting that your educational institution sends any required documents and transcripts to L.A.P.E. College
  • Prior Learning Credits Policy and Application


Applicants who attended school outside of Canada:

If you are submitting transcripts to meet admission requirements, you must have the transcripts assessed by an independent credential assessment agency such as World Education Services (WES) or International Credential Assessment Service (ICAS). 

Admission Decision

If your admission is approved, you will receive an acceptance or admission offer letter via email or postal mail in 15–30 days before the start of your program.
If your admission is not approved due to policy or other reasons, you will receive an email or letter indicating such decision.
If your application is not approved, all deposits and fees paid will be refunded 100% without any deduction.

 Confirm Your Offer of Admission

  • Offers of Admission are sent by email and mail to eligible applicants. When you receive your offer, you must contact L.A.P.E.C. admissions office via email as soon as possible and confirm before the Deadline to Confirm noted in your offer letter
  • You must confirm your offer by the Deadline to Confirm noted in your Offer of Admission letter, or your seat may be given to another applicant
  • When you confirm your Offer of Admission at L.A.P.E. College, you are given access to your personal online account where you can find links for grades, access program subjects, pay tuition fees, and see your timetable

How to Pay Fees



For NonVocational Programs:


  • L.A.P.E.C.–P.D.L.E.S. accepts only online registration and payments via Visa and Master Card
  • A student may log into his/her online profile account and access/download invoices and statements 24/7. L.A.P.E.C. will not provide paper-based invoices or statement by post mail. Click here to learn how to access your profile
  • Candidates may also send payments via Interac email funds transfer (within Canada only) at accounts@lapec.org. In this format payment option, application must be initiated first to get exact amount and invoice number, followed by funds via email with applicant’s details or invoice number


For Diploma (Vocational) Programs:

Other than diplomas or courses funded by government or financial institutional loans, students will be advised by L.A.P.E.C.'s student funding advisor of various easy options once admission offer is accepted by the student. 

  • L.A.P.E. College fees statements are sent by email to your personal email account or students may log into his/her online profile account and access/download invoices and statements 24/7. Click here to learn how to access your profile. Fees statements are not mailed
  • You must make a minimum payment by the Fees Deadline noted in your Fees Statement or your seat may be given to another applicant
  • L.A.P.E.C. Financial Aid


Registration and admission for  Non-Vocational Program

Since most of L.A.P.E.C.’s nonvocational programs are available/offered to all students globally and accessed via in class as well as the internet as distance education, students can apply for admission to all courses online 24/7.

Step one:
Go to program link on L.A.P.E.C. website. Select your desired course/subject from the related course list. Check course status, if registration is open, and read course details and criteria carefully.

Then go to “Course Registration Link(s),” available under the “Agenda and Course Notes” area. Select your desired format (Online, In-class or Video).

Then click on registration link available above the course date and timeline; this action will open the course registration page. On this registration page, if registration for the course is open, you will find a box saying “Register.” Click on that box and fill out the initial basic registration form with your contact information and choices. Then pay the required fees and submit. 

Step two:
After successful registration and applicable fee submission, you will then be instantly relayed via system-generated email instructions/directions related to your application 
or course, based on respective course’s criteria. (Please check your email folder(s) (including Spam) to see if your course requires any further documentation or step to follow.*)

Step three:
For online or video format program(s), successful applicants/registrants will be able to log into designated students’ “student login” from program-related OLMS website area online for full access to the course calendar, details, notes, materials, student resources, and more.
Student online access will be deactivated upon completion of a course or as per course policy, which is available on the course web page.

All other short or no-assessment-based courses such as CPD and Exam Prep, registrants will receive course joining/access instruction instantly via email.


* For the courses which do not require any assessment-based certification, the registrant will receive course joining/access instruction instantly via email. Please check your email account and follow instructions.
